English Literature Tutor

English Literature Tutor (Online) | Years 3–11 | GCSE, KS2 SATs & 11+

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated English Educator to join our growing team and deliver engaging online lessons to students from Year 3 through Year 11.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality online English lessons to students across Years 3–11.

* Prepare students for:

 * KS2 SATs

 * 11+ Grammar School Entrance Examinations

 * GCSE English Language and English Literature

* Develop lesson plans, resources, homework, and assessments tailored to individual student needs.

* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.

* Foster a positive and engaging online learning environment.

* Adapt teaching methods to suit students of varying abilities and learning styles.

Essential Requirements

* A Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Literature, Education, or a related field.

* Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English.

* Strong understanding of the *UK National Curriculum*.

* Experience preparing students for *GCSE, KS2 SATs, and 11+ examinations*.

* Familiarity with major *GCSE exam boards**, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and Eduqas*.

* Ability to confidently teach students from *Year 3 to Year 11*.

* Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

* Access to a *pen tablet* and/or proficiency in using an *interactive online whiteboard* for lesson delivery.

* Reliable internet connection and a professional online teaching setup.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience teaching within the UK education system.

* Experience working with high-achieving students and grammar school entrance preparation.

* Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
