Job Title: English Language Training Intern
Role Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic English Language Training Interns to support the delivery of engaging English communication training programs. The intern will assist trainers in preparing learning materials, supporting learners during sessions, assessing language skills, and maintaining training records.
This role is suitable for candidates who have strong English communication skills, enjoy teaching or mentoring others, and are interested in building a career in language training, education, or corporate learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist trainers in conducting English language classes, workshops, and speaking activities.
- Help prepare lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assessments, and other training materials.
- Support learners with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and spoken English.
- Facilitate group discussions, role plays, mock interviews, and communication exercises.
- Observe learner participation and provide basic feedback under the guidance of the trainer.
- Conduct or assist with English language assessments and maintain learner progress records.
- Help manage attendance, session schedules, training documentation, and feedback forms.
- Research useful English-learning resources, current business communication topics, and training activities.
- Coordinate with learners regarding class timings, assignments, and follow-up sessions.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Good understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
- Interest in teaching, training, mentoring, or learner development.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with individuals and groups.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, public speaking, customer service, or training support.
- Familiarity with language assessment methods or English proficiency frameworks.
- Ability to create simple and engaging learning activities.
- Good presentation and facilitation skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate learners from varied backgrounds.
- Knowledge of online training tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or learning management systems.
