Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Language Trainer role based in Kozhikode. The English Language Trainer will plan and deliver engaging lessons in English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, to learners at different proficiency levels. The role involves designing lesson plans, preparing learning materials, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support learner progress. The trainer will incorporate activity-based learning, group discussions, and practical communication exercises to build learners confidence and workplace-ready English skills. Day-to-day responsibilities also include tracking learner performance, maintaining training records, collaborating with other trainers or coordinators, and continuously updating teaching methods to align with learner needs and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching skills, with the ability to handle diverse learner groups effectively.
  • Background in Education, training, or related fields, with experience designing and delivering structured learning programs.
  • Proficiency in Writing, including clear written communication, preparation of learning materials, and feedback documentation.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related discipline; teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL/TESOL) are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated classroom management skills, patience, and the ability to motivate and mentor learners.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools for creating and delivering training content and tracking learner progress.
  • Prior experience training students or early-career professionals for communication or placement readiness is preferred.
