Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a English Specialist to work on a part-time basis. In this role, you will apply your expertise in English linguistics to help train next-generation AI systems, providing high-quality, real-world input that shapes how models learn, reason, and perform. Your work will have a direct impact on the development of frontier AI models, enabling them to better understand and generate human-like language, and contributing to the growth of the AI industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate English language content for accuracy, consistency, and naturalness to ensure that AI models are trained on high-quality data.

• Develop, curate, and refine text datasets to enhance the linguistic capabilities of AI models, including designing tasks and guidelines for language annotation.

• Collaborate with AI trainers and engineers to provide expert feedback on language use, grammar, and context, and to identify language-related challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Create written resources and best practice documentation for linguistic training, including proofreading, editing, and optimizing written materials to meet high communication standards.

• Participate in team discussions to identify language-related challenges and propose effective solutions, and to contribute to the development of AI models that can understand and generate human-like language.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A strong background in English linguistics, with a deep understanding of language structure, grammar, and syntax, and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world problems.

• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of AI models and human readers.

• Experience with language annotation, data curation, and other related tasks, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze complex language data, identify patterns and trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
