What are you expected to do

Training & Facilitation

Conduct interactive sessions on Speech Delivery, Theatre Basics, Voice Projection, Diction, Stage Presence, Script Reading, Improvisation, and Character Development.

Facilitate role plays, dramatic readings, skits, monologues, and improvisation exercises.

Introduce students to movement, expressions, body language, and stage confidence.

Encourage creativity, imagination, and emotional intelligence through theatre-based activities.

Curriculum Development

Create structured lesson plans and drama modules suitable for different groups.

Develop scripts, performance material, exercises, and evaluation tools.

Design activities that enhance confidence, articulation, collaboration, and creativity.

Event Preparation

Ideate, prepare and execute a standalone Gyansthan theatrical production or showcase during the academic year.

Assist in scripting, directing, rehearsing, and staging performances for school events.

Prepare students for inter-school and intra-school speech and drama competitions.

Coordinate costumes, props, stage blocking, and rehearsal schedules.

Administrative & Collaborative Work

Submit session plans and performance reports.

Maintain attendance and student progress records.

Participate in meetings and creative discussions for program enhancement.

Patient, observant, and empathetic towards young learners.

Comfortable handling diverse groups.

Energetic and expressive enough to lead engaging and dynamic sessions.

Preferences

Have a background in Theatre, Performing Arts, English, Mass Communication, Psychology, or Education.

Have prior experience in teaching speech, drama, or theatre in academic institutions.

Have directed or performed in stage productions.

Know how to transform hesitant students into confident performers.
