Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in vendor operations, service delivery, and IT extended workforce within software engineering services.
- 6 years of experience in leading technical support teams, operations, strategy, and change management.
- 5 years of experience in sourcing, selection, and contracting vendors.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in engaging with executive vendor account leaders, multi-vendor operations management for scaled operations, and vendor relationship management.
- Experience working in an operational or sourcing capacity within software engineering services.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud or other Cloud platforms.
- Understanding of service contracts, and statements of work for outsourced operations.
- Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with multiple teams across all levels.

The Google Cloud Vendor Management Organization (VMO) has responsibility for extended workforce needs across Google Cloud, including vendor partner selection, governance and operations, and delivery management.
In this role, you will focus on partnering with the business teams you support to achieve issue resolution and value creation to help set up Cloud for growth.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vendor strategy, including sourcing, selection, negotiation, and contracting for Cloud Engineering and AI Solutions requirements (e.g., software development, testing, UX).
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver global strategic/operational initiatives to scale and transform services while monitoring operational and compliance risks.
- Embed AI as a core component of solutions, leveraging learning and automation, and continuously evaluate the evolving AI landscape to integrate advancements.
- Design custom vendor solutions (location/commercial terms) and use market intelligence to benchmark costs and optimize agreement lifecycles.
- Monitor operational and compliance risk for vendor operations.
