A $20M-funded B2B gaming startup based in Hyderabad, with a team of about 80 people, focused on scaling its product to millions of users.

The Role

• We are looking for an Engineering Lead to own engineering end-to-end — architecture, delivery, hiring and AI — with a clear path to grow into the company's CTO.
• You will report directly to the co-founder, lead and grow the engineering team, and build the engineering culture and operating model for a future CTO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the technical vision, architecture and roadmap, working closely with the co-founder.
• Lead and grow the engineering team, including hiring senior engineers and building second-line leaders.
• Scale the product to millions of users while ensuring reliability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Drive AI adoption in the product and engineering processes with real depth.
• Oversee delivery, including sprint rhythm, release quality, incident response and engineering metrics.
• Collaborate with product, design and business teams to align engineering decisions with B2B customer needs.
• Build the engineering culture and operating model for a future CTO.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience managing a team of 10 or more engineers, directly or through leads.
• Roughly 5–6 years of experience in B2C companies or products.
• Startup experience, ideally scaling a B2C product from zero to millions of users.
• Deep hands-on technical expertise, with demonstrable AI/ML knowledge through projects, products or roles.

Important: A gaming industry background, including real money gaming (RMG), is required for this role.

• Background in the gaming industry, including real money gaming (RMG) companies.

Tech Stack:

• Node.js, Google Cloud Platform, AI/ML
