Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven US Engineering Recruiter with experience recruiting for engineering and product development roles across the United States. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience sourcing, screening, and closing candidates for Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded, Firmware, Hardware, and related engineering positions while supporting US-based clients and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for US engineering positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
- Recruit for a wide range of engineering roles including:
- Mechanical Engineers
- Electrical Engineers
- Electromechanical Engineers
- Electrical & Mechanical Test Engineers/Technicians
- Hardware Engineers
- PCB Design Engineers
- Embedded Software Engineers
- Firmware Engineers
- FPGA Engineers
- Validation & Verification Engineers
- Systems Engineers
- Product Development Engineers
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Monster, internal databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct technical and behavioral screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, experience, work authorization, location, and compensation expectations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of engineering talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Work closely with account managers, delivery managers, and hiring managers to understand technical requirements and hiring priorities.
- Evaluate resumes against job descriptions and identify skill gaps, transferable skills, and candidate suitability.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and client stakeholders across US time zones.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, and recruitment activities in ATS/CRM systems.
- Negotiate compensation packages and facilitate offer acceptance.
- Ensure compliance with client hiring processes, documentation requirements, and recruitment best practices.
- Meet individual and team recruiting KPIs including submissions, interviews, placements, and time-to-fill targets.
- Stay updated on engineering market trends, talent availability, and emerging technologies in embedded systems, hardware design, electronics, and product engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of US Staffing/Recruitment experience.
- Proven experience recruiting for engineering and technical positions in the US market.
- Strong understanding of engineering skill sets including Mechanical, Electrical, Hardware, Embedded, Firmware, PCB Design, FPGA, and related technologies.
- Experience working with W2, C2C, and Full-Time hiring models.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, and ATS platforms.
- Strong resume screening and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Comfortable working in the US Central Time Zone.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting clients in Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, Semiconductor, Medical Devices, Energy, or Embedded Systems domains.
- Familiarity with engineering tools and technologies such as Embedded C/C++, RTOS, FPGA, PCB Design, Altium, Cadence, MATLAB, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAN, and Hardware Validation.
