We are looking for a self-driven Engineering Project Manager with experience in fast-paced software development or e-commerce environments, with a proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery across globally distributed teams.
Description
As an Engineering Project Manager on the AOS team, you will own the full project lifecycle for software engineering initiatives from business requirements and technical design through development, QA, and launch. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks while driving alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders across globally distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software engineering projects, managing the full lifecycle from initiation through launch
- Define and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risks
- Serve as the primary point of contact across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities
- Coordinate across engineering, QA, DevOps, and operations teams for smooth and timely execution
- Proactively identify, track, and manage risks, dependencies, and change management
- Drive collaboration across globally distributed, time-zone diverse teams
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project or program management
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams
- Experience working in globally distributed, time-zone diverse team environments
- Technical background in software engineering with the ability to understand and articulate technical implications of project decisions
- Hands-on experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience managing budgets and forecasting resource needs
- Experience working with vendors and contractors in a global delivery model
