EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Minimum: Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
• Preferred: B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in design, proposal, NPD or manufacturing engineering, with a substantial period in a team-leading or product-owning role.
• Experience in an aerospace, defence or space industry organisation is mandatory; AS9100 certified organisation preferred.
• Proven record of owning a product line technically — from enquiry and feasibility through development, qualification and transfer into serial production.
  
  

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

The Product Manager must hold authoritative command of at least two of Hical's product categories and credible working knowledge of all of them. Candidates with hands-on working experience in one or more of these product categories will be strongly preferred.

• Magnetics and wound components – transformers, inductors, coils, chokes
• Wire harnesses and cable assemblies – discrete harnesses, looms, coaxial and shielded assemblies
• Electro-mechanical assemblies and box builds
• Motors – BLDC, PMDC, stepper, servo and synchronous types
• Solenoids – linear and rotary, latching and non-latching
• Actuators and actuator assemblies – electro-mechanical, linear and rotary
• Cabinets, racks and panels with complete internal wiring
• Machining and fabrication parts process

Recommendation of engineering capex, new capability and manpower within the delegation of authority.
