Job Summary

Be a catalyst for operational excellence join a team that's redefining how world-class products are developed. As an Engineering Process Analyst, your work will directly accelerate new product launches, improve engineering efficiency, and shape the digital backbone of our global operations. You'll have opportunities to lead initiatives, influence strategy, and develop expertise in cutting-edge Product Data Management (PDM) processes and technologies, with an initial focus on Engineering Bill of Material (BOM) processes and data.

In this results-oriented role, you'll partner closely with Engineering Process Managers and Owners to define, govern, and optimize how work gets done and is sustained. You'll elevate the engineer's experience through exceptional support, intuitive self-service resources, and targeted trainingleading change thoughtfully, turning feedback into action, and driving long-term adoption across global engineering teams. As the steward of our digital thread, you'll audit and analyze data, track KPIs, enforce adherence to internal standards, and communicate results so our teams can trust a single, authoritative source of product data.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

User Support

  • Provide exceptional end-user support and troubleshooting for Product Data Management (PDM) capabilities and processes, initially focused on Bill of Material (BOM) Management, including Variant Management
  • Develop and maintain self-service resources (including training and quick reference guides) and process documentation for global Engineering teams
  • Lead engineering teams through change to ensure long-term sustainability; Leverage user feedback to identify improvement opportunities; Provide training, as needed

Quality Assurance & Data Stewardship

  • Drive data-driven decisions through hands-on analysis and process audits, aligned to Quality Assurance objectives
  • Ensure data stewardship resulting in a trusted, single source of truth for product development data in the digital thread.
  • Track key metrics / KPIs, as defined by the Engineering Process Owner.
  • Monitor and control process adherence, ensuring compliance with internal standards, and communicate results.
  • Lead all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups. Includes defining the go-live communication plan.

Engineering Process Governance and Execution

  • Supports Engineering Process Managers and Owners by executing all facets of process definition, administration, and optimization, to ensure process adoption and maximum ROI
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for Product Data Management (PDM), initially focusing heavily on CAD-driven Engineering Bill of Materials (process and data)
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining standard work
  • Lead small to medium-scale incremental improvement initiatives
  • Support the creation and management of engineering BOMs; including support for Assigned Usage Expressions, Variant Specification, and Variants
  • Supervise and participate in Part and BOM release through the change approval process

Skills, Knowledge & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Data and Analytics, or related technical field.
  • At least 4 years experience in model-year based New Product Development.
  • At least 3 years experience leading the management of configurable Bill of Material (BOM) variant structure and rules, as well as change management (ECO/Deviation, etc).
  • Direct experience managing CAD-driven Bill of Materials with ERP-integrations.
  • Expert-level proficiency with PTC suite of applications (Creo, Windchill) and Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and PowerBI.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, curious, and self-driven individual with ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Team player; Ability to collaborate with various stakeholder groups with varied skill levels
  • Preferred experience with the following: Understanding of Configurable / Variant BOMs, Overloaded or Feature & Option model BOMs and Product Family Matrix tool; Direct experience managing structure for colors and/or raw materials; Rules Engines

Working Conditions
