ValueLabs is hiring for .Net Azure Engineering Manager
Role - Engineering Manager (.NET & Cloud Platforms) We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager with a strong technical foundation in the .NET ecosystem and Azure to lead our high-performing development teams. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical execution and strategic product delivery, managing multiple cross-functional Scrum teams in a fast-paced global environment. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of managing both internal and vendor-partnered teams to deliver world-class products.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor multiple cross-functional Scrum teams (Engineers, QA, and DevOps), including managing output and integration for third-party vendor teams.
- Technical Strategy: Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance for applications built on .NET (Core/6+) and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Global Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders and engineering peers across global time zones to align on technical standards and delivery roadmaps.
- Product Delivery: Work closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product features.
- Operational Excellence: Drive Agile best practices, continuous integration, and automated testing strategies to maintain a high bar for engineering excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Use strong negotiation and communication skills to manage expectations, resolve dependencies, and navigate complex organizational challenges.
Required Qualifications: -
- Experience: 10+ years in software development, with at least 3–5 years in a formal leadership or management role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in the .NET stack and extensive experience architecting and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Agile Mastery: Expert-level experience managing multiple Scrum teams simultaneously; comfortable leading Sprint ceremonies and optimizing team velocity.
- Vendor Management: Proven experience managing outsourced/vendor development teams, ensuring they meet the same quality and cultural standards as internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience leading diverse teams that include UI/UX, QA, and DevOps functions to deliver end-to-end product value.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
