Job Description
- Spearheading the design and development of service-driven web applications, translating expertise into comprehensive execution plans for the engineering team.
- Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of modern architecture practices, making informed decisions on monolithic and microservice-based solutions, and effectively communicating these decisions.
- Showcasing expertise in design paradigms (model first vs. code first) and design patterns
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications in both production and non-production environments, even with limited prior contextual awareness.
- Providing effective technical guidance to lead engineers, architects, and individual contributors to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering work
- Translating non-technical concepts into technical language for stakeholders, defining development approaches that align with business goals.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 12-15 years of experience in technology delivery, encompassing coding, design, architecture, and team management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in working within an Agile/Scrum development environment
