About the Role
We're looking for an Engineering Manager with strong technical depth and real AI experience to lead a team delivering enterprise-grade software across AI, middleware, UI, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a coordination role.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and delivery of a cloud-native enterprise platform
- Build and ship AI-powered capabilities (LLMs, automation, intelligent workflows)
- Manage and mentor a team of 56 engineers operating across multiple domains
- Create a strong ownership culture (engineers own build + quality end-to-end)
- Eliminate single-point dependencies and grow multi-skilled engineers
- Drive AI adoption across the engineering lifecycle to improve productivity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering with strong technical foundations
- 3+ years leading engineering teams
- Experience building and shipping enterprise SaaS or platform products
- Production experience with AI/LLM technologies (must have)
- Engineers who grew into leaders not career managers
- Ability to lead small, high-impact teams in fast-moving environments
Required Skills
- Backend / Middleware: Python, microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ/Redis
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- AI: Generative AI, LLM integrations, agentic workflows
- Cloud: AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
Preferred Skills
- Developer platform or infrastructure product experience
- Startup or high-growth company background
- Identity / security domain exposure
