Role Description

The Sleep Company is seeking an Engineering Manager for a full-time, on-site position at its Mumbai location. The Engineering Manager will lead and oversee the design, development, and execution of engineering projects. Responsibilities include managing a dynamic team of engineers, developing technical roadmaps, ensuring project deadlines are met, and driving continuous improvement in processes. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical mentorship, enforcing best practices, and ensuring alignment with the company's goals.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in software development, system architecture, and engineering principles
• Proven experience in team management, project leadership, and mentorship
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, project management tools, and KPI-driven development
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Background in comfort-tech, consumer products, or smart technology preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
