About the Role

We're hiring an Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager to lead high-performing full-stack teams delivering end-to-end product experiences across UI and backend services. Level will be determined based on candidate experience and impact, with an expectation of being 20% hands-on (as needed) while scaling team execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow engineering teams (6–10 engineers per team; EM typically owns one team, Sr. EM may own multiple teams)
• Drive end-to-end delivery from product discovery to production, ensuring predictable execution on scope, timelines, and quality
• Partner with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to translate goals into a clear roadmap and execution plan
• Implement and continuously improve Agile practices to increase delivery cadence and transparency
• Build and scale full-stack systems (UI applications, APIs, and microservices-based backend services)
• Raise the bar on engineering excellence (code quality, testing, performance, reliability, and operational readiness)
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve SDLC productivity while maintaining strong review, testing, and quality standards
• Stay hands-on (20%) for design reviews, critical problem solving, and key technical contributions

Must-Have

• Experience in a product company / high-growth startup (mandatory)
• Managed teams of 8–12 engineers
• Delivered end-to-end full-stack capabilities (UI/mobile and backend services) in production
• Backend experience with Java / Python / Go and microservices; hands-on in at least one backend stack
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC (e.g., for code review support, test generation, and developer productivity)
• Strong execution & stakeholder management
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes
• B.E./M.E./B.Tech/M.Tech from reputed institutions

Good to Have

• Strong Agile experience driving efficiency
• Exposure to at least one cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Strong system design experience
