As an Engineering Manager

• You will lead teams of Software Engineers based out of Bengaluru in an Hybrid model
• You will partner with other global team and stakeholders to design, develop and to deliver Travel eCommerce Domain capabilities at scale.
• You will coordinate delivery with other teams including DevOps, DevSecOps, and Data Domain team members.
• You will also help your team members develop their professional skills through the application of growth frameworks, performance reviews, one on ones, and mentorship.
• You have possibly worked with global stakeholders and/or global customer base.
• You are preferably from B2C, B2B eCommerce, LogiTech, TraveTech, Payments Tech domains

• Inspire and lead a high-performing team of 8–10 engineers through day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
• Shape the future by co-defining the technical vision and strategy for your domain and guiding the team through architectural and engineering decisions.
• Own delivery excellence by driving execution and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Build for scale by ensuring the platform is secure, resilient, and scalable—supporting millions of users globally.
• Design for the future by leading the development of robust, cloud-agnostic, distributed systems that are built to last.
• Accelerate innovation by driving the integration of AI/ML, LLM, MCP capabilities across demand forecasting, recommendation engines, and real-time decisioning.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping current with emerging technologies and bringing fresh thinking to the team
• Own, Monitor and Optimize Engineering Excellence and Best Practices.

What you'll bring to the team

• 12+ years in software engineering with a focus on building distributed, cloud-native systems.
• 4+ years of engineering leadership, managing teams of 8+ engineers
• At least 2 years of experience in writing people performance reviews
• Demonstrated success leading in high-performance technical environments
• Strong project and delivery management capabilities
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Hands-on experience designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Proficient in one or more of: Java, Python, Go, .Net
• Track record of scaling platforms to support high RPS with 99.99%+ uptime
• Deep expertise in cloud-native tools and infrastructure: Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform
• Must have driven at least 2 Full end to end Software Development assignments (Concept to Release)
• B2C / B2B / eCommerce / FinTech / LogiTech / Quick Commerce, Travel Tech Domains
• Has worked on High Volume (2000+ RPS), Scalable & Low Latency (30 msecs) product development
• Has experience with global development teams and/or global Stakeholders
• Has experience with AWS or GCP or Azure
