Key Responsibilities
Product Engineering Leadership
- Lead and manage engineers working on frontend and backend product features.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Drive execution of the product roadmap with predictable and high-quality delivery.
Execution & Delivery
- Own sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery for product initiatives.
- Break down requirements into clear technical tasks and milestones.
- Ensure engineering best practices around code quality, testing, and reviews.
Technical Guidance
- Provide technical direction for product services and web applications.
- Review system designs and critical code paths.
- Help teams make pragmatic architectural decisions that support scale and maintainability.
People Management
- Mentor and grow engineers through regular feedback and career development.
- Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and hiring interviews.
- Build a strong, collaborative, product-focused engineering culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead role
- Experience building and scaling customer-facing SaaS product
Core Tech Stack (Required)
- Frontend: Next.js (React)
- Backend: Node.js, Python
- Database: MongoDB
- Cloud: AWS
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (working knowledge)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in high-growth startups or rapidly scaling product organizations.
