Engineering Manager, Revenue Sub-ledger

• Lead a team of talented engineers to solve data management challenges at scale and uphold technical and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and customers to define and execute a high-impact, prioritized roadmap.
• Recruit, coach, and mentor engineers, supporting their professional growth and development.
• Actively participate in the launch of new product features and capabilities.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across Stripe to ensure feature integration into Stripe's ecosystem.
• Contribute to engineering initiatives within the Revenue and Finance Automation (RFA) organization and beyond as part of Stripe's engineering management team.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering management experience with 10+ years in the software engineering industry.
• Proven success leading complex, multi-stream engineering teams on high-impact initiatives.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and decision-making skills, especially around technical trade-offs.
• Thrives in environments with high autonomy and responsibility.
• Builds and maintains a healthy, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
• Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with large-scale technical challenges.
• Strong appreciation for and ability to work with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems or big data processing systems.
• Experience in high-growth technology organizations.
• Exposure to or experience building financial systems or tools for finance professionals.
• Understanding of accounting procedures or systems.
