Engineering Manager – POD Tech Leader

Engineering manager role- tech & people management skills

5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale projects with a high level of complexity

5+ years of product management experience or engineering/Technical lead

Good understanding of one or more tech stacks such as microservices, Rest APIs (example - Spring Boot / Java), React, Cloud (Azure preferred)

Broad understanding of technical delivery aspects such as SDLC, DevOps, SRE, Quality Engineering

Working understanding of Agile methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent

Ability to build strong relationships with technical, product, and business stakeholders

Previous project management and leadership experience preferred.

A bachelor's degree is preferred; MBA or graduate degree a plus.

Project management certification (PMP) a plus.

Agile certification a plus.

Additional Qualifications needed:

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring project team members and technical leads.

Experience in planning and execution of Agile Transformations will be a plus.

Superior interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors. Incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills.

Superior presentation skills preferred.

Superior organization and coordination skills.

Ability to independently identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate, and/or resolve risks, issues or elements that can impact a product.

Experience leading idea cost / benefit reviews.
