Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Engineering Manager who can lead modern, cross-functional engineering teams while actively contributing to development. This role requires strong expertise across mobile, web, backend, data engineering, and AI, along with experience leveraging AI-augmented development tools to accelerate delivery.
You will play a key role in building scalable products, mentoring teams, and driving engineering excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Kotlin-based mobile app development
- MERN stack development
- Golang and PostgreSQL
- Experience in Data Engineering and Data Science workflows
- Exposure to AI/ML systems and integration
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of scalable applications
- Stay hands-on with coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including microservices and cloud-native architectures
Full Stack & Mobile Development
- Oversee development of mobile applications using Kotlin (Android)
- Lead web application development using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
- Build and optimize backend services using Golang and PostgreSQL
Data & AI Engineering
- Design and implement data pipelines and data engineering workflows
- Work closely with data science teams on ML models and analytics solutions
- Drive integration of AI/ML capabilities into products
AI-Augmented Development
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude and similar platforms to enhance developer productivity
- Implement AI-assisted coding, testing, and documentation workflows
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies for engineering efficiency
Team & Delivery Management
- Manage, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams
- Drive sprint planning, delivery tracking, and quality assurance
- Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders
Good to Have
- Experience in building AI-powered products or platforms
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI pipelines
- DevOps and CI/CD experience
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
