Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager Mechanical / Piping to lead and manage mechanical and piping engineering activities for major offshore EPC oil & gas projects. The role involves technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and end-to-end support from engineering through fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical and piping engineering scopes for offshore EPC projects.
- Oversee design and engineering of static and rotating equipment, piping systems, layouts, stress analysis, and material selection.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, ASME, API, international codes, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with process, structural, instrumentation, stress, layout, supports, and material engineering teams.
- Interface with clients, vendors, licensors, and fabrication yards.
- Review and approve technical documents, datasheets, vendor drawings, piping deliverables, and engineering reports.
- Support fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Provide technical guidance, resolve engineering issues, and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 8 years in offshore EPC oil & gas projects.
- Proven experience as Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer in Mechanical and/or Piping discipline.
- Experience handling major offshore oil & gas projects.
- Strong leadership, coordination, client-handling, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- ADNOC project experience preferred.
