Engineering Manager: Java / Spring Boot / AWS / React / AI

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams working on Java / Spring Boot / React / AWS-based applications

• Drive design and development of scalable enterprise solutions

• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects in Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare domain

• Work closely with Product, Business, and Client stakeholders

• Define architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices

• Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable application development

• Lead cloud-native development using AWS services

• Manage Agile / Scrum delivery model

• Mentor developers, architects, and technical leads

• Ensure compliance with GxP / FDA / Healthcare regulations (Good to Have)

• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices across development teams AI-Driven Development (Must Have – Vibe Coding)

• Hands-on experience with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT

• Use AI for code generation, debugging, code reviews, and automated testing

• Strong prompt engineering skills for development workflows

• Ensure code quality through AI-assisted development practices

• Ability to improve engineering productivity using modern AI development approaches

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development / Engineering

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

• Experience with React / Angular / modern frontend frameworks

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Cloud platforms • Proven experience leading engineering teams

• Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare domain • Strong understanding of system design and architecture

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Clinical / R&D / Commercial Pharma / Healthcare IT

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices

• Knowledge of Data Platforms, AI, and Analytics systems

• Experience managing global clients and distributed teams
