Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Engineering Manager to join our technology team and take ownership of end-to-end application development. You will lead a team of developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances strong technical expertise with people management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers across front-end and back-end technologies.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture.
Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
Drive agile practices like sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools to improve development processes continuously.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in full stack development.
2+ years of experience in a technical lead or team lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Solid back-end development skills using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages.
Strong database knowledge (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Understanding of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
