Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineering Manager located in Kolkata at Hyatt Regency Kolkata. The Engineering Manager will oversee the maintenance and operation of the hotel's infrastructure, including building systems, technical installations, and equipment. Responsibilities include managing a team of engineering staff, planning and implementing maintenance schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and addressing technical issues promptly. Collaboration with other departments to maintain quality standards and support hotel operations is an essential part of this role. The position also involves budget management and supporting sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in engineering operations, building maintenance, and technical systems management
• Proficiency in safety compliance, risk management, and energy efficiency practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills to mentor and oversee engineering staff
• Project management experience, including planning, execution, and budgeting
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with other departments
• Prior experience in hospitality or facility management is a strong advantage
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; certifications in relevant technical areas are beneficial
