The Opportunity

Are you a visionary engineering leader with a passion for modular design and lean methodology We are looking for a Technical Manager -NPD to spearhead the design and development of our next-generation Industrial Rotating Equipments like Compressors, Pumps. In this role, you will transition beyond simple management to become the architect of highly reliable, cost-efficient platforms that redefine market standards.

Your Mission

You will be the technical authority responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of screw and small piston compressors, dryers, and filters. You will lead a high-performing team of Design and Laboratory Engineers to deliver innovative, modular solutions within targeted budgets and aggressive deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pro-active Design Strategy

  • Anticipate & Innovate: Drive a quality-first design culture using advanced tools like FMEA, and Qualification Plans to eliminate potential failures before they happen.
  • IIntegrate manufacturing constraints early in the process, utilizing Poka-Yoke techniques to ensure seamless, error-free assembly.
  • Modular Evolution: Transform our product portfolio by developing standardized, modular components that increase reliability while simplifying testing and customization.

2. Engineering Operational Excellence

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement a robust process combined with experience block concepts to ensure lessons learned are permanently integrated into our design DNA.
  • Lean Execution: Champion Lean Engineering principles across all project teams to optimize performance and reduce time-to-market.
  • Localization: Lead the technical qualification and localization of sub-assemblies and components to strengthen the global supply chain.

3. Customer-Centric Design & Aesthetics

  • Visual & Ergonomic Leadership: Elevate the customer experience by prioritizing aesthetics, ergonomics, and superior finish (including upfront painted parts) to ensure our technology looks as high-performing as it functions.
  • Reactive Excellence: Lead the Rapid Response design process for warranty issues, utilizing formalized root-cause analysis (5-Why, A3) to deliver corrective actions on time.

Experience / Educational requirements

Should be a Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer

Effective leader with >14-16 years of R&D and people management experience.

Technical knowledge of Compressors is a must, including all related norms / regulations.

Able to write deep technical documents and project specifications
