Engineering Manager - ES
As a Manager-Engineering ES, your mission is to Support and promote PNB's Mission of being recognized as a Benchmark Product Company.
You will responsible
- Lead the Team of Mechanical Engineers to design and develop products & ES projects following Atlas Copco processes and best practices to ensure the optimal solution is designed to meet the customer's expectations.
- Participate Design Review of entire Project in close co-ordination with cross functional teams to meet the customer requirements & have smooth execution + fitment during construction.
- Provide direction while inspiring, empowering, and trusting the team to be resourceful in using their expertise to design the optimal solutions by understanding the customer requirements.
- Manage strategic KPI's to track progress, identify gaps, implement action plans and drive results to ensure Projects business stability and a great customer experience.
- Take ownership for the technical quality, functional completeness, and on-time delivery of all pre-production customer deliveries (CAD files, drawings, parts, final documentation). Support Proposal team to check feasibility on new requirements from customer as per specifications. Drive strong collaboration with Project Teams, Sourcing Team and Manufacturing team and drive continuous improvement based on our core belief that there's always a better way.Identify areas for capability and competency improvement within the team. Works with Atlas Copco talent framework to upgrade team skills, including recruiting new talent, and driving a learning plan to close gaps. Drive the ZTM (Oil free screw compressor) Modular design./CDM(CD Dryer Modular design)./ZHM Centrifugal compressor) Modular design. modular localization project and support in delivering the modular CKD/PKD (sub-assemblies) and complete m/c from ES Pune.
- Lead and motivate people to follow the process, identify the Gaps in and take part in
- Lead design problem-solving efforts and guide team in redesign activities where necessary.
- Take the lead to expand the export business and lead these export projects in close cooperation with other ES entities.

Qualifications/Knowledge & Work Experience:
- University degree or similar through experience, major in mechanical engineering or related area.
- Minimum 10-12 years engineering and packaging development experience,
- Experience in coaching and project engineering management is a must.
