Engineering Manager Embedded Automation Products

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 510 engineers in the design and development of advanced electronic industrial products such as Touch Panel HMIs and PLCs.
• Take full ownership of design activities from concept through to production-ready prototypes.
• Oversee hardware, firmware/software, and mechanical design processes to ensure seamless integration and high-quality outcomes.
• Drive innovation and cost-effective design approaches aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and product delivery.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluation for team members.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets effectively.
• Ensure compliance with product design standards, quality, and safety requirements.

Prerequisites:

• Hands-on experience in hardware, software, and firmware development.
• Proven experience in end-to-end product design and development.
• Strong project management and people management capabilities.
• Experience with microcontroller-based design projects.
• Familiarity with Freescale ColdFire processors and CodeWarrior tools.
• Knowledge of open-source tools and RTOS environments is desirable.
• Experience in Touch Panel HMI and PLC design is an advantage.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience including product design and supervisory responsibilities.
