Engineering Manager, Customer Capacity Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across teams of engineers focused on building a new platform.
• Define, iterate, and communicate team goals, strategy, and roadmap.
• Collaborate and navigate through organizational complexity to solve problems and drive cross-functional execution.
• Coach, mentor, and grow engineers on the team.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle including design, implementation, and delivery of services and infrastructure.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in capacity planning and management.
• Experience leading and growing medium-to-large engineering teams.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages, distributed systems, and reliable systems/cloud services.
• Passionate about delivering impact in an enterprise-facing and customer-facing environment.
