Job Title:Engineering Manager (Software)

Location:Bengaluru, Manyata Tech Park

Business& Team:BusinessBanking , CRM WorkBench

Impact & contribution

• Drive the initiatives for the bank in the area of software & quality Engineering.

• Develop solutions for the bank to ensure the best controls are in place.

• Act as an adviser to yourbusiness, delivering accurate and timely insights on performance information to key internal and external stakeholders.

Roles& Responsibilities

• Independently oversee multiple projects ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are met.

• Utilise strong understanding of corebusinessand technical strategies to deliver bestbusinessoutcomes.

• Develop and deploy high quality software solutions.

• Collaborate with other teams across the enterprise to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.

• Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.

• Drive strategic practice development and provides technical assistance to the team.

• Provide high level estimates for large projects.

• Active contribution to internal online discussion around software engineering, delivery and technology e.g. blog posts, knowledge base articles etc.

Essential Skills

• 14+ years of relevant hands on work experience in software development.

• Experience in Technical Engineering Manager role is required. Well versed with managing full cycle engineering teams.

• Experience in creating high level solution architecture flows.

• Experience in BIAN architecture - Awareness

• Experience in Microservices Architecture

• Experience in .NET Core, React JS, Typescript, Next.js, Node.js, Python

• REST, GraphQL and API Development Experience

• Database such as Oracle, PostgresSQL , AWS Aurora

• Extensive experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Awareness or Experience of Monitoring tools such as Observe, Prometheus, Grafana

• Well versed in AI Powered Engineering tools like Cline, GitHub Copilot

• Should have done mentoring,reviewing of codes, making blueprints etc.

• Experience in Secure Coding Practices

• Good Communication and Presentation Skills

Education Qualifications: Bachelors or master's in engineering

in Computer Science/Information Technology.
