Job Description

The Adobe Cloud Platforms & Collaboration (ACPC) Group is building a highly scalable and available Content Platform for Adobe SaaS offerings, running on public clouds. We're pushing the future of SaaS development by maximizing and building the latest technology and design thinking.

Our dedicated team of developers is building highly available, low latency, cloud-scale foundation components such as Cache, Storage, Database (SQL and NoSQL), Queuing, Pub-Sub, etc., to create one standard to develop, deploy, operate, and govern Adobe SaaS solutions across multiple clouds—handling millions of requests every day.

What You'll Do

  • Mentor and guide a high-performing engineering team
  • Be an inspiring leader in building services for next-generation multi-cloud services
  • Deliver high-performance web services that adapt to dynamic business needs, influence ideation, and solve complex problems
  • Partner with global product management, engineering, and operations leaders to shape product architecture, practices, roadmap, and release plans
  • Drive strategic and tactical decisions to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead the technical design, vision, and implementation strategy
  • Create execution plans and lead the engineering team to realize the vision
  • Apply best practices and coding patterns to ensure maintainable, modular, high-quality solutions
  • Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, using creative problem-solving to enhance team efficiency
  • Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top talent; empower and develop the team as a player-coach
  • Foster a positive, winning culture built on collaboration and shared achievements
  • Lead discussions on emerging technologies and trends, influencing product direction

What You Need to Succeed

  • 9+ years of experience in software development with a proven record in a management role
  • Strong technical skills and experience in designing & developing enterprise applications
  • Expertise in Java/JEE, design, coding, architecture, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
  • Deep knowledge of Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, and analytical/reporting databases
  • Experience in developing and leading teams building cloud-based solutions (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns, with experience in leading significant software projects/products
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects through the full software delivery lifecycle
  • Track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset with a strong bias toward action and the ability to handle ambiguity
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting and building strong teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—capable of influencing and inspiring both technical and non-technical audiences
  • BS or MS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field
