Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager with a strong background in .NET or Java technologies to lead and grow engineering teams building scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, people leadership, and delivery ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers across .NET or Java-based systems
• Provide technical leadership in system design, architecture, and code quality
• Drive Agile/Scrum execution, sprint planning, and delivery commitments
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and execution plans
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability of applications
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development
• Proactively identify risks and resolve technical and delivery challenges

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall software development experience
• 3+ years of experience in an Engineering Manager / Technical Manager / Tech Lead role
• Strong expertise in either:
• .NET Stack: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Entity Framework
• OR
• Java Stack: Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful services
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Frontend exposure (Angular / React)
• Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with large-scale or SaaS-based systems
