About the Company

We are hiring for a US-based Global IT major for Bangaluru location.

About the Role

Role: Contract 6 months.

Work from Office Monday to Friday.

Shift: Full-Time (2 PM to 11 PM).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the AI Center of Excellence, driving the development of scalable and enterprise-grade AI solutions.
  • Take on a player-coach role, balancing hands-on technical work with team leadership responsibilities.
  • Own end-to-end delivery, including planning, execution, and production deployment.
  • Guide architecture decisions to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
  • Build and grow engineering teams through hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with product and agile teams to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans.
  • Ensure disciplined execution with clear ownership, prioritisation, and timely delivery.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards across coding, testing, CI/CD, and release processes.
  • Enhance developer productivity through automation, tooling, and DevOps best practices.
  • Drive production readiness, including monitoring, incident management, and post-release stability.
  • Promote reusability and consistency through shared frameworks and architecture patterns.
  • Work with modern AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, and cloud-based AI platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards around security, governance, and data protection.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, delivery efficiency, and system reliability.

Qualifications

  1. 12+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in engineering management with people management responsibilities.
  2. Strong technical foundation with the ability to review code, debug issues, and guide architecture decisions (hands-on leadership).
  3. Proven experience leading teams delivering production software (APIs/services, integrations, and/or UI).
  4. Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, coach, and grow engineering talent.
  5. Strong engineering quality mindset: code reviews, testing, CI/CD gates, and operational readiness.
