Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously improve manufacturing processes across the full product life cycle (NPI to EOL).
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Engineers.
- Drive process stability, yield improvement, quality performance, and cost optimization.
- Act as the primary technical expert for sustaining engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a strong shop‑floor presence and lead structured, data‑driven problem solving.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Supply Chain Management stakeholders, including Quality Management, Procurement, Assembly as well as internal functions such as Equipment Engineering and NPI teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and good manufacturing practices.
- Support automation, lean manufacturing, and new technology adoption initiatives.
Requirement
- 6–8 years of hands‑on engineering experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment.
- 2–4 years in a supervisory or technical leadership role managing or guiding engineers.
- Strong experience in sustaining engineering and full product life cycle support.
- Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, MATLAB, NI LabVIEW, or SPC tools (advantageous).
- Exposure to automation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
- A relevant Master's degree is an advantage.
