Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Design Management
- Lead engineering strategy, project planning, and technical design validation.
- Review architectural, structural, MEP, and services designs for feasibility and cost efficiency.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize materials, design, and execution.
2. Construction Execution & Quality Assurance
- Oversee onsite construction across all project locations.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and safety norms.
- Establish SOPs for site execution, quality audits, and technical checkpoints.
3. Cost, Budget & Vendor Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, BOQs, and procurement plans.
- Evaluate and finalize contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Implement costcontrol systems, MIS tracking, and project expenditure monitoring.
4. Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory approvals.
- Coordinate with government authorities for NOCs, permits, and inspections.
5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead crossfunctional engineering, site execution, QS, and PMC teams.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, legal, finance, and sales teams for project integration.
- Mentor engineering staff, build highperformance teams, and drive professional development.
6. Technology & Process Improvement
- Champion the adoption of construction technologies such as BIM, project management tools, advanced materials, and automation.
- Introduce lean construction practices, sustainability initiatives, and ESG-aligned engineering solutions.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, structural design, and MEP systems.
- Expertise in real estate development lifecyclefrom concept to handover.
- Proven ability to lead largescale construction projects.
- Skilled in vendor management, negotiation, and budgeting.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern construction technologies (BIM, ERP, PMIS, etc.).
Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory). M.Tech / MBA (preferred).
- Experience: 1525 years in real estate construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or mixeduse projects as required by the organization.
