Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems such as compressors, pumps, motors, HVAC systems, and utility equipment
  • Ensure proper functioning of manufacturing equipment in OSD/Injectable/API facilities
  • Execute maintenance schedules and ensure minimum downtime of machines
  • Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and documentation as per cGMP requirements
  • Support equipment qualification and validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Coordinate with production, QA, and other departments for maintenance activities
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability
  • Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to maintenance activities
