Role:
Support department activities for enhancing engineering efficiency through effective management of Logistics Activities
Responsibilities:
- Identification onboarding new Logistics service providers.
- RFQ/Tendering, negotiation process through system for contract finalization.
- Designing and managing Agreements with Logistics Service Providers (LSP).
- Co-ordination with Internal external stakeholders for various Logistics activities to ensure better solutions to end customer.
- Tracking and safety of en-route consignments. Ensuring no quality issues are observed during transit, safe handling of parts/ vehicles, proper packaging
- Coordination with PPC- M,K,G, K, SMG /Warehouse teams for system process developments.
- Cost saving new project initiatives.
- Periodic review of LSPs.
- Experience in Part Truck Load, Management of Packaging and logistics for Raw material Parts.
- Understanding about MTD, PO, Invoicing, Taxation, Export-Import, Custom Handling, Packing, Scrapping , Engg Model Development Cycle
Technical/ Functional:
- Understanding of Logistics business activities and ensure operational compliance.
- Knowledge on MSIL Systems Like : Enovia, ERP system - SAP / Oracle, MSIL Production Menu.
- Knowledge of Transportation, Logistics, warehousing, understanding of Supply Chain Management.
- Vendor management KPI performance evaluation.
- Knowledge on Logistics Costing - ZBC
- Proficient in use of computers (especially Excel, Word and Power point) Desirable:
- Worked in Automotive OEM and have experience of Logistics management. (Minimum 3-years of hands-on experience in Automotive Logistics management.) Demonstrated efficient enhancement, cost saving.
