Job Description
Role Purpose: Drive and enable overall Engineering & Application strategy to cover market specifics based on market trends, technological trends, existing & future products & solutions to secure long-medium-short term organizational objectives & KPIs.
Enable team to provide State-of-Art value-driven competitive solution to retain market position, enhance market share, improve CX (shared equal responsibility with Sales).
Strategic Mandate:
- Deliver Vision 2030: Put up as technology enabler to explore business emerging sectors.
- Strengthen market position across core and emerging sectors, leveraging Bosch's multi-technology advantage (Hydraulics, Electric Drives, IoT, Digital Solutions).
- Champion digital transformation, service excellence, and localization to future-proof the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy: -
- Determine Market Potential for Rexroth, Total relevant Market and Addressable Market
- Development, implement and steer technology Go-to-Market strategy aligning with market trends and demands, customer, competitor strategy & USP to gain market share
- Responsible for product management. Implement, nurture & steer new emerging technologies and products.
- Responsibility of Didactics.
- Technical Risk evaluation and mitigation of projects
- Secure Long & Mid-term business qualitative technical objectives
- Enforce Compliance & Legal topics and various industry/DC standards / rules.
- Responsible for price management.
- Provide external techno-commercial insights to the organization & support in management decision making | Report & Represent.
- Business Tactical-
- Plan, Secure & Measure per business clusters, customers, technology, products to meet target business metrics in short & medium term together with CFTs.
- Manage customers & develop relations and Collaborate & Coordinate with CFTs / BU / related stakeholders to ensure improved CX & CS (Key contact is customer's engineering/ design/ R&D).
- Promote Technological Value driven selling.
- Extend support to Service, (often to customers directly) & Plant to resolve technical issues including support to PUE for technical evaluation of products
- Product & Solution promotion (Tech-days / Tech-Sessions / Fairs in association with Sales, MKT) and technical training to customers & other external stakeholders incl. relevant association, societies e.g., FPSI, CEMA, VDMA
- Support to Marketing - Social media marketing, fairs & customer events
- Business Operation: -
- Support Sales in Pricing, techno-commercial offering, value selling & negotiation, contract management, Customer communication
- Improve and readjust departmental & value-stream processes together with plant functions.
- People: - Lead team
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth
- Plan, recruit & develop talents | Upskilling & Reskilling | Promote DEI | Promote simplicity & agility
- Promote Positive Leadership | Administration | Drive GPtW | Drive compliance topics
- Bachelor/master's in engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Production or similar w. MBA (preferred).
Experience:
- 20-25 Years of experience in Techno commercial role in Hydraulic industry.
- At least 5 years in a Techno commercial / KAM leadership role covering Sales, Application, and Service.
- Proven track record in strategic business development, transformation, and people leadership.
- Experience in MNC environments with exposure to international markets desirable

Qualifications
- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical or Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production Engineering (mandatory).
- MBA or Executive Management qualification preferred.
