• As a Lead Engineer for Technology in our Technology team, you will partner with business, technology managers to create Designs, solutions and strongly engineered applications. You'll be an integral part of the bank's technology infrastructure, guiding the Feature teams through the engineering practices and leading by example. • The candidate in this role will architect, design, develop application code, implement technicalsolutions,and configure applications inOn-prem and Google Cloudenvironments in response to business problems. To meet the requirements of the business, the candidate will activelyparticipatein architecture design, application development lifecycle, investigate issues (bugs/performance), propose solutions, promote re-usability of existingcomponents,and contribute to the creation of frameworks.The candidate will assist junior members of the team and guide them as applicable.KnowledgeofTradefinancedomainwill be an advantage.

• Hands-on experience of Microservices architecture, microservices development and cloud technologies would beaddedadvantage.
• Experience in understanding enterprise data models and documenting data attribute mapping & interface control requirements
• Activelyparticipateand contributetoAgileceremonies including Daily Stand up's, Sprint Planning, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective meetings
• Strong communication, negotiation,networkingand influencing skills are essential because collaboration with end-users,technologyand operational functions are critical to the relevance of the product.
• Verifies the developed source code via reviews (4-eyes principle) andresolvereviewfindings.
• Integrates software components following thegroupsintegrationstrategy.
• Verifies integrated software components by unit and integrated software testing according to the software test plan. Software test findings must beresolved.
• Ensures all code changes are tracked and recorded through thegroupschange management process as Change Items (CIs) and that development is scheduled andapproved.
• Provides Release Deployments on non-Production Management controlledenvironments.
• Captures Build and Deployment notes, develops Software Product Deployment & Operating Instructions
• Manages maintenance of applications and performs technical change requests scheduled according to Release Managementprocesses.
• Fixes software defects/bugs
• Measures and analyses code for quality
• Collaborates with Functional Analysts and QA to complete work, asrequired.
• Reviews and mentor's other developers in developing solutions whichperform toexpected results and handle negative test casescenarios.
• Provides Level 3support.
• Contributes to root cause/problem analysis andsolutionbrainstorming.
• Collaborates with Functional Analysts and QA to complete work, asrequired.
• Create required documentation for the project.
• Recommend changes to improve established java application processes anditsperformance.
• Shallbe ready to learn new Java technologies as per the projectrequirements.

Your skills and experience

• 18+ years of relevant experience
• A hands-on technologist with expertise in Java based technologies, Spring, Microservices architecture, CI/CD pipeline
• Oracle SQL
• Ability to solve business problems with an acute engineering mindset
• Strong analytical and Design skills
• Proficient communication skills. Proficient English language skills (written/verbal)
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organizations
• Keeps pace with technical innovation
• UI Technologies : ReactJS
• Java and J2EE Technologies: Spring MVC, JMS,
• Spring Batch, Oracle, Unix Command, CI/CD, GIT/SVN
• Junit/Mockito (Any Unit Test Frameworks)
• Sonar Qube/ Emma Code Coverage and Code quality tools
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle. CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Teamcity
• Performance monitoring Tools like Java Heap Analyzer, Visual JVM, JMX Console
• Micro Services: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Kubernetes, API Gateway, SSL, OATH, JWT, Spring JPA, Kafta
• Updated relevant skill certification
• A Bachelors degree
• Passionate about technology and is a go-getter
