Engineer Trainee

Job description

• Release periodical progress reports viz. DPR, WPR, MPR, presentations etc notifying all project stake holders on status of project, accomplishments, look-ahead plans, forecast completion and areas of concern. 
• Support the team to develop and maintain various planning documents viz. EPC schedules, EPC trackers, Gantt Chart, S Curves etc. 
• Coordinate with cross-functional department teams, engineering consultants, vendors & contractors for gathering project data. 
• Support the team in analysing the project data to ensure project commitment.  
• Coordinate with IT, SAP & GRC team in providing system support and resolving IT related issues.
•  Looking after the daily production and providing daily reports
• Work in accordance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and departmental procedures to meet customer demands.
• Support Plant head in planning for reprocess material, carrying out RCA , raising MOC & executing all the actions in plant level.
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and business teams to manage product availability and customer delivery across the SCM.
• Understand and ensure the following of the Raw material unloading procedure from tanker to storage tanks.
• Identifying & reporting any abnormality of tankers, appearance of Raw material
• To participate in RCA as and when required, ensure the implementation of the action plan.
• Taking/Suggesting new initiatives for Kizen, Poka Yoke and lead the same.
• Understanding the PSSR and support the team In carrying out PSSR.
• Understand and support preparation of BEP & CAPEX in consultation with process lead and engineering consultant / our R&D team.
• Review the detailed engineering documents prepared.
• Understand all process engineering deliverables developed by consultant, e.g. PDS, P&ID's, MB, EB, Hydraulic calc, Equipment layot, Equipment sizing, etc.
• Support the team in identification& resolving queries related to process / piping / equipment layout of execution team during project execution.
