As a Design or Chief Engineer, you'll oversee engineering projects for Tissue machine modernizations, improvements, and equipment deliveries, collaborating closely with Valmet stakeholders. Your role involves supporting sales & application, procurement, and site operations while focusing on project´s mechanical engineering. As a Chief Engineer, you'll handle layout, 3D modelling, and subcontractor supervision or as a Design Engineer, you'll focus on 3D modelling and detail engineering, with growth opportunities towards a Chief Engineer role. This is a chance to demonstrate your skills and collaborate globally, showcasing your technical expertise and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience for Chief engineering role but few years of experience for Design Engineer positions.
- Knowledge of Board, Paper, or Tissue mills seen as advantage as well engineering experience from heavy machine industry , with proficiency in 3D engineering software such as Catia V6
- Fluent in English; additional languages are seen as a benefit
- Determined, self-reliant, with a passion for continuous improvement and global collaboration
- Strong teamwork, networking and communication skills
- Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies
- Willingness to travel 20-40 days annually within Asia Pacific and Internationally
