Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Microsoft & Azure Infrastructure Administrator with 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing Microsoft server environments and cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for administering Windows servers, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Exchange, VMware, and Azure services, while leveraging PowerShell for automation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Server Administration
Install, configure, manage, and maintain Windows Server environments
Perform server patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
Manage Active Directory services including users, groups, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP
Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory / PKI
Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity lifecycle management
Support hybrid identity setups (AD Connect)
Manage PKI infrastructure, certificate lifecycle, and security best practices
Microsoft Exchange
Administer Microsoft Exchange Online / On-Prem / Hybrid environments
Manage mailboxes, mail flow, security policies, and user support
Assist with Exchange migrations and upgrades
Microsoft Azure
Manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Backups
Monitor Azure infrastructure performance and availability
Implement RBAC, security controls, and basic cost management
VMware Administration
Administer VMware environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines
Perform VM provisioning, snapshots, backups, and performance monitoring
Assist with capacity planning and troubleshooting
PowerShell & Automation
Develop and use PowerShell scripts for routine administrative tasks
Automate user provisioning, server health checks, and reporting
Improve operational efficiency through scripting
Security & Operations
Follow security best practices for access control, patching, and compliance
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and documentation
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support IT operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Server and Infrastructure Administration
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID
Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
Experience in VMware administration
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Good understanding of networking fundamentals and security concepts
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Azure or Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-102, or equivalent)
Experience with hybrid cloud environments
ITIL or operational support experience is a plus
