NMS Wireline Team
Tejas NMS Group designs and develops network management solutions for the entire portfolio of Tejas devices working across technologies likeSDH/SONET, OTN, DWDM, GPON, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP and IP/MPLS. The group's flagship product's (TejNMS) unique value proposition is that it provides unified & comprehensive management solution for multi-technology layered networks for telecom service providers & enterprises. The product supports extensive fault & performance monitoring, institutive user-friendly graphical user interface to visualize and provision multi-layer network using point &click remotely. The solution follows the ITU-T standard TNM architecture & supports TMF & TAPI complaint standard interfaces to enable deployment of Software Defined Networks (SDN).
Responsibilities
Mandatory skills:
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Data Structures, Algorithms and their complexity/performance.
- Design/development/debugging in Java.
- Middleware like Hibernate, ActiveMQ & Relational DBs like MySQL/Oracle.
Desired skills:
- Good to have: Micro Services and Spring Boot Application development
- Good to have: NMS/EMS/OSS/BSS domain experience.
- Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts, and SDN controllers like ODL or ONOS is desirable.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 to 3 years experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
- Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree
- Candidate should be good at coding skills in Python

About The Team
Tejas Networks is driving cutting-edge research to revolutionize content delivery and wireless communication technologies. One major area of focus is the development of advanced solutions that integrate broadcast and cellular networks to enable seamless content distribution. These innovations aim to alleviate network congestion, reduce infrastructure costs, and enhance the overall user experience. A key outcome of this work is a next-generation Content Delivery Network (CDN) architecture that supports Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) delivery, developed in collaboration with leading CDN and content providers. This initiative is backed by a robust portfolio of patented technologies in broadcast and content delivery systems.
In parallel, significant efforts are being made to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of wireless network operations. Research in this domain includes the creation of a domain-specific language (DSL) that enables platform-independent expression of Radio Access Network (RAN) functions, helping reduce dependency on proprietary hardware. Additionally, advanced AI/ML techniques are being employed to automate network management, streamline operations, and optimize resource utilizationresulting in substantial cost savings and improved performance.
