Job Description
The engineer will have the end-to-end ownership of multiple features. The engineer will need to refer IEEE/RFC/MEF standards , design, code and unit test the features. The engineer need to work closely with H/W and FPGA team for seamless integration of the features. The engineer needs to provide support to Product verification Team for these features till end of the verification cycle.
Responsibilities
- The engineer will have the end-to-end ownership of multiple features.
- The engineer will need to refer IEEE/RFC/MEF standards, design, code and unit test the features.
- The engineer needs to work closely with Hardware and FPGA team for seamless integration of the features. The engineer needs to provide support to Product verification Team for these features till end of the verification cycle.
- The engineer will have to work very closely with Product Line Manager to understand the customer requirement to incorporate innovativeness and value-additions to product development.
- As a member of this team, you will get chance to demonstrate innovative solutions to customers/stakeholders and also will get opportunity to influence the future product development.
Mandatory Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience developing software with C/C++ for embedded platforms.
- Strong Understanding of multi-tasking, multi-threading, synchronization, memory management, interrupts etc.
- Proficient in utilizing embedded development tools such as debuggers, protocol analyzers, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to Plan and execute tasks with end-to-end ownership.
- Hands on experience in TCP/IP and sockets programming.
- Strong Layer 2,3 expertise with hands-on experience. L2(xSTP, VLAN, LACP, LLDP) L3 (L3 (OSPF, BGP, Tunnels), Multicast (PIM, IGMP), ACL/QoS.
- Experience in Broadcom chipset (Qumran/Jericho) highly desired.
- Experience in Virtualization (KVM, LXC, Docker) highly desired.
Qualifications
Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience developing software with C/C++ for embedded platforms.
Education: BE / B. Tech / M. Tech - CS/EC/EE

About The Team
Tejas Networks is driving cutting-edge research to revolutionize content delivery and wireless communication technologies. One major area of focus is the development of advanced solutions that integrate broadcast and cellular networks to enable seamless content distribution. These innovations aim to alleviate network congestion, reduce infrastructure costs, and enhance the overall user experience. A key outcome of this work is a next-generation Content Delivery Network (CDN) architecture that supports Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) delivery, developed in collaboration with leading CDN and content providers.
