Engineer- Tech PNR methodology

Job Overview

Arm is leading the vision to unlock a broad ecosystem of silicon required for AI, Data centers, mobile, compute and IoT. As a member of Solution engineering, you will be joining a team enabling the latest semiconductor process nodes. This role requires study of advanced node processes, to enable teams to deliver a flow that achieves the best performance at the lowest power and area cost on advanced CPU designs.

The suitable candidate has a strong understanding of EDA vendor tool and design flows and technology files as well as process design rule manuals, with experience developing, and optimizing design flows on advanced process nodes.

Responsibilities

• Drive EDA technology enablement from early technology development through production readiness
• Develop, and desply design methodologies, flows, scripts, and automation supporting advanced node processes.
• Develop strategy and roll-out for EDA tools roadmap and features.
• The suitable candidate will be able to analyze the requirements, define and develop CAD solution including external EDA tools integration.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors to debug tool issues, evaluate new capabilities, and influence tool and methodology improvements.
• Ability to lead a product implementation, working closely with internal design teams, foundry and partners.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience :

• Strong experience and deep understanding of Floorplan, PDN, Timing, Power, and Physical design.
• Outstanding expertise in EDA tool-flows, PPA analysis and designing solutions
• Experience with architecting and developing VLSI CAD Software and automation.
• Strong coding proficiency in languages Python, C, Tcl. Proficiency with version control systems like git, distributed processing, and disk management.
• Ability to work with evolving problem statements and solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, team spirit and effective collaboration with multi-functional teams.
  
  

Nice To Have Skills and Experience :

Experience with multi-die SoC design flows. Experience with Data analytics, dashboards and metrics desired.
