Professional skills:
Experienced RF, Electrical & EME Engineer with expertise in RF design, electrical system assessments, and EME compliance for telecom infrastructure projects. Strong problem-solving abilities with proficiency in RF design, electrical load calculations and EME & WHS risk assessments.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare detailed RF plumbing diagrams using MS Visio, including antennas, RRUs, combiners, filters, feeders, and jumper configurations for greenfield and rooftop telecom sites using MS Visio.
Design telecom DC power systems, including rectifiers, PSUs, DC distribution networks, battery systems, and associated power infrastructure.
Perform electrical feasibility assessments to evaluate existing site infrastructure and determine AC power upgrade or modification requirements.
Conduct AC/DC load calculations, battery autonomy analysis, recharge calculations, voltage drop assessments, and capacity planning to support design requirements.
Develop AC power distribution designs, including distribution boards, MCB sizing, cable selection, phase balancing, and load allocation.
Prepare engineering design documentation, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), power layouts, cable schedules, rack layouts, equipment schedules, and as-designed drawings.
Design and validate Lithium-ion and VRLA battery backup solutions based on site load demands, redundancy requirements, and backup duration criteria.
Assess aircon and Damper/Cooling requirements through heat load calculations and develop backup power solutions, including generator and changeover system designs.
Perform Electromagnetic Emission (EME), RF safety, and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) assessments, and prepare compliance and risk assessment reports.
Ensure all engineering designs comply with telecom standards, electrical regulations, safety requirements, customer specifications, and industry best practices while providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Should comply with Australian electrical and power related standards.
Additional Skills: MS Visio, AutoCAD & IXUS.
