Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring incoming material quality, supplier performance, and compliance with
quality systems through effective inspections, audits, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
to achieve customer satisfaction and support new product development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incoming Quality: Incoming material inspections, defect reduction, RCA (8D, 5 Why), and
documentation, daily coordination with supplier.
2. Supplier Quality: Supplier selection & on boarding, Supplier system and Process audits, NCR &
CAPA handling, and ISIR/PPAP, Product improvement.
3. Customer Satisfaction: Complaint handling, 8D reporting, Customer audits and field quality
improvements.
4. Quality Systems: Compliance with ISO 9001/BIS, SOPs, Documentation for IQC and SQA.
5. NPD Support: APQP, PFMEA, validation, and inspection planning for new BOP products.
6. Testing Lab: Lab operations, Monitoring of testing Plan Vs Actual, Documentation, Abnormality
Handling, Feedback to Supplier / Manufacturing on testing result, Improvement.
7. Improvement Initiatives: Departmental KPIs tracking, Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke) and team
training.
