Work with the Project Consultant Engineering team to design plant mechanical equipment and piping requirements.
Principal Job Accountabilities:
- Work with the Project Consultant Engineering team for designing plant mechanical equipment and piping requirements.
- Finalize project specifications for mechanical equipment and piping as per the latest design standards.
- Monitor and track engineering deliverables for the project.
- Understand and follow project design best practices.
- Provide project design consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package.
- Monitor the status of project engineering (designing) and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.
- Prepare and review MTO (Material Take Off) List and BOQ (Bill of Quantity) to facilitate procurement activities.
- Prepare and review equipment manufacturing drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings.
- Responsible for assigned projects from initial development. This requires meetings with users to fully determine their needs and fulfilling the same.
- Conduct project review meetings to identify issues and plan countermeasures.
Skills and Academic Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant Experience: 5 to 9 years of experience in the field of chemical/petrochemical/refinery project designing, vendor development for project consultancy/design.
- Should have experience in project activities from the grassroots level.
