Position Summary
Ensure Imports parts are planned as per the planning horizon, Purchase Orders are released as per release date and bring materials inside Parker On Time and In Full.
Responsibilities
- Generate Planning sheet for all the imports parts with updation of Demand and stock
- Review in hand, GIT and open PO and arrive at shortage list for 6 months horizon
- Arrive at the ordering plan.
- Review with DSCM Weekly and finalize the Purchase Order
- Raise Purchase Orders in JDE and share the PO to Imports suppliers
- Obtain commitment from Imports suppliers against Parker PO
- Follow up with Import Suppliers for material dispatch against the supplier commitment
- Nominate preferred carrier & forwarder for the shipments
- Liaison with Parker Logistics team for customs clearance
- Enable for inwarding at Parker Warehouse with proper approved PO in JDE
- Review of imports parts coverage on a weekly basis and take suitable actions for shortages
- Recommend and obtain premium freight if required to cover the shortages.
- Review and recommend Safety stock for imports items.
- Provide monthly estimate of inventory and work for the achievement of the same
- Review Ageing inventory and take actions for liquidation.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate with more than 4 years of experience in Automotive OEM or Tier I Suppliers.
- Written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
- Experience in Imports supplier handling
