Job Title: Oracle EPM (PBCS/EPBCS) Technical Consultant
Responsibilities
We are seeking an Oracle EPM (PBCS/EPBCS) Technical Consultant with 3–4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis. The consultant will support internal and external projects by understanding business requirements in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and translating them into effective Oracle EPM Cloud solutions. Experience with AI-driven enhancements or automation is a plus.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including solution design, configuration, build, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules and Groovy scripts to support planning processes.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting during data loads and reporting cycles.
- Assist in performance tuning of applications, including optimization of business rules, calculations, and cube performance.
- Support monthly and quarterly planning cycles; resolve user issues within defined SLAs.
- Manage data integration activities including data loads, mappings, and transformations using Data Management or FDMEE.
- Develop and maintain reports using HFR, PBCS Reporting, or Narrative Reporting (NRCS).
- Monitor system performance, job executions, and logs; perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with senior consultants and project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Work effectively in an onsite–offshore delivery model, coordinating tasks across distributed teams.
- Utilize Jira or similar tools for task tracking, sprint planning, and issue management.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PBCS/EPBCS implementation or support.
- Strong understanding of planning processes such as Budgeting, Forecasting, Workforce Planning, Capex, etc.
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining Business Rules and Groovy scripts.
- Good knowledge of ASO and BSO cube design concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Data Management / Data Integration (FDMEE or Data Exchange).
- Experience with reporting tools such as HFR, PBCS Reports, or NRCS.
- Strong understanding of metadata management and security configuration.
- Proficiency in Smart View for data retrieval, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Basic experience with automation tools such as EPM Automate or scripting.
- Exposure to other EPM modules like FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or VB is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-based automation or analytics is beneficial.
